BDN highlights Tanner’s 2021 Boren Fellowship

The Bangor Daily News reported that University of Maine graduate student Tiffany Tanner has been awarded a Boren Fellowship to study Russian in Belarus. Tanner, a graduate student in global policy, will spend 10 months at Minsk State Linguistic University with the goal of becoming proficient in Russian while immersing herself in Soviet culture.
