Welcome to the University of Maine and the University of Maine at Machias! We are so excited to have you here.  We hope the information on this page will assist you in transitioning to your new life in Maine and on our campus.

Purchasing Textbooks

Through MaineStreet
1. Review the handout
2. Log into your MaineStreet account. On the top left corner you will see a link “My Class schedule”, open it and in the top right corner you will see “Textbook Information”, which will bring you to the UMaine bookstore website and you will see the exact list of textbooks for each class and its ISBN number

2. Here you need to select the classes you are taking. Your class list is located in MaineStreet
Buying digital copies from alternative textbook website RedShelf.com, Amazon or another retailer in your country:
 – make sure the ISBN number for each textbook and author match (grab info from one of the above two methods)
